Avilynn is a multidisciplinary DJ and sound artist based in Berlin, whose sound bridges the raw essence of oldschool techno with a forward-thinking approach.
Rooted in hypnotic rhythms, her discography blends driving energy with experimentation and improvisation, while her DJ sets leave a lasting impression long after the dancefloor falls silent. Drawing inspiration from techno’s underground heritage, she crafts a sound that feels both timeless and distinctly her own.
With a career spanning multiple aliases, Avilynn has earned recognition for her distinctive artistic vision. Her work has been described by music journalists as forward-thinking, avant-garde and even legendary.
In 2020, she founded Taisha Records and debuted as Avilynn with her acclaimed EP Anaesthesia. Her discography also includes releases on Answer Code Request Records, while her NOL initiative reflects her commitment to inclusivity and techno’s underground roots.
Her music has been featured on NTS Radio and the Boiler Room Podcast, and she has performed at venues including Tresor, OXI, Watergate and Astron, sharing lineups with artists such as DVS1, Cleric, VSK and DJ Pete.
Beyond music, her creative practice extends to the design of limited-edition modular synthesizer cases.
